LG electronics spotlights virtual influencer reah keem to introduce its forward-thinking innovations at the first all-digital CES 2021. viewers were invited to enjoy the press event from home as it was streamed on LG’s CES 2021 website and LG global youtube channel. this strategy enhanced this year’s theme: ‘life is on – make yourself at home.’ the theme comes in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic which saw the world staying in, and avoiding in-person contact. with this in mind, the company’s selection for its virtual announcer is timely as it took advantage of the creative opportunities that an entirely digital event brings. the need for in-person collaboration was sidestepped as the electronics company exhibited the deep learning technology that makes reah keem even more human-like.
