responding to the fact that the average user spends 2.3 seconds to access their phone, approximately 39 times a day, motorola together with google’s advanced technology and projects group, and VivaLnk inc., have developed a nickel-sized digital tattoo that unlocks one’s mobile Moto X with a simple touch of the phone to the adhesive design.

the digital tattoo is worn on the inside of one’s wrist and is thin and flexible, so you don’t even know it’s there

the e-skin technology, which is delivered in an ultra-thin and flexible material, communicates wirelessly with the user’s smartphone and can be worn up to 5 days, withstanding normal conditions such as perspiration, water and physical activity. using NFC (near-field communication), the VivaLnk digital tattoo unlocks your Moto X without the need to type in your password or PIN — making logging in more secure and a lot faster.
