wacom has released information about a line of three new products for the fall. included are the ‘cintiq companion tablet’, ‘companion hybrid tablet’ and ‘intuos stylus pen’, a powerful mobile workstation with windows 8 and android OS compatibility, and a tablet stylus developed specifically for iPads.

boasting the full power and performance of a cintiq tablet, the ‘companion’, is packed with software from microsoft, (or android for the hybrid version) and gives users the freedom to brainstorm with teammates and clients from any location. the system is completed with a ‘pro pen’, with 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity and tilt recognition that provides precise control and a better feel than ever from its re-worked ergonomic design. its compact carrying case also includes storage for extra nibs and rings. in addition, the device offers bluetooth connectivity, to easily hook it up to an optional wireless keyboard, ports for mini display, and superspeed USB 3.0.

the new ‘intuos stylus’ pressure-sensitive pen enables palm rejection, and lets users draw, sketch, and paint on their iPads via bluetooth 4.0 connection. its brushed aluminum body provides a comfortable soft touch grip, and like the cintiq stylus, also has 2048 levels of pressure that reacts to a light touch just like a real pen on paper. the stylus comes with a carrying case that includes storage for extra nibs, rings, a battery and slips easily into any purse or pocket.
