williamson wheelmen is a python-wrapped luxury bicycle from detroit

luxury sports equipment brand williamson goods collaborates with another local, the detroit bicycle company, in creating a copper-plated, python-skin wrapped, handmade bicycle. the level of detail in this bike makes it worthy of a place in an art museum.

williamson goods and supply co.’s ‘wheelmen’ bicycle has a sturmey-archer five-speed hub in the rear, driven by paul components cranks, and is adorned with a brooks saddle and grips, hand-wrapped and sewn in 100% genuine crocodile skin. at the front of the luxury bicycle is an elegant copper-plated handlebar-mounted bottle cage, while its hammered fenders will be painted to match each color theme. the frame is truly mesmerizing, upholstered by hand with python skin.

born and raised during detroit’s decline, williamson goods and supply co. was compelled to participate in its renaissance, infusing the a luxurious sporting brand with the heart, passion, and grit that is synonymous with the motor city. all of its animal skins are CITES certified, thus they are harvested in a sustainable and humane process. additionally, no chemical bi-products are used in the tanneries.
