operating out of the UK and china, AD creative have developed the world’s first bamboo smartphone. powered by a 1.4 GHz
samsung exynos 4 quad-core processor – the same as inside the samsung galaxy S III, the handheld device incorporates 1 GB
of RAM and an additional 16 GB of internal storage. the smartphone will run a choice of either android 4.0 ice cream sandwich
or the company’s AD android operating system (ADAOS), an open source version of the software.

 

equipped with a 4.5 inch TFT LCD screen with 1280 x 720 HD capabilities, its display boasts 326 pixels/inch of resolution
for clear viewing. also featured is a rear-facing 8 megapixel camera with f/2.0 back illuminated sensors, which is contained
within its 11.8mm thin enclosure.

 

with its final specifications and pricing options revealed, the ADzero bamboo smartphone will seek funding through
kickstarter with its cheapest option starting at 500 USD.
