<p>perched upon a hill, four concrete volumes cantilever over the landscape to frame isolated horizon views of the nearby reservoir. </p>

<p>consisting of vases, side tables and pendant lighting, the geometric objects are cast from resin by a manually manipulated mould, resulting in a different form every time using a low-tech process. </p>

each of the vases has been individually handcrafted through hot air welding, a process that is commonly used to repair broken plastic parts, by joining ABS off-cuts together to create strong, distinctive edges.

<p>the electric kettle has an internal stainless steel tank and detachable lid with a knob-lock system. in the form of a bottle, the appliance is meant to fit in any kitchen environment. </p>

<p>an installation composed of 13,454 hanging hand-stained chopsticks creates a delicate canopy over the japanese restaurant. </p>

3000 chopsticks are connected with bamboo sticks to create a structure which acts as a shelf and a delicate partition between four zones.

<p>this historic mansion has been retrofitted into a contemporary office space which integrates a suspended library network above the main working level. </p>
