for design miami 07, stuart haygarth will create a new work focused on plastic water containers. by taking a small detail section (the base) from different branded bottles and slightly modifying the visual appearance, he'll create a chandelier shaped like a water droplet.

KCAP architects: blaak 31, rotterdam

the 12 storey building's volumes are slightly rotated relative to each other and shift 2.70 meters every three floors. this form is partly determined by the distance to the market hall with the aim of allowing maximum light and privacy for both buildings.

CTRUS football by AGENT

the mexican design studio 'AGENT' , headed up by michel rojkind and alberto villarreal just informed us of a new football they have designed called 'CTRUS'. billed as 'the first soccer ball you can see through' the design emulates the bounce of an inflated pneumatic soccer ball, but offers the advantage of not loosing air. an inner light also displays if the ball is over the goal line or outside the field of play.
