‘tubular bells’ is a modular shelving systems by italian designer giulio iacchetti for arthema.

the design synthesizes a joint made by a few simple production steps. the overall modular element of the furniture system is made up of 28mm poles featuring a laser-cut groove-and-tongue technique, which in combination with specially cut steel plates inserted in the 90° corners of the unit, hold the shelves in place.

with this, vertical and horizontal arrangements are limitless, making it easy to build and adapt ‘tubular bells’ according to your storage needs.
