XOR motors is currently presenting their electric foldable scooter XO2 at the 2009
EICMA motorbike show in milan. the XO2 can be easily transformed into a quarter
cubic meter luggage cart and only takes 2 hours to recharge.

The suitcase is much much smaller than the scooter. Why is the suitcase even there and who did they pay to design it? The bike does NOT fold into a suitcase it just compacts into something that is roughly a giant rock shape with wheels sticking out. The fake suitcase sitting beside the bike is not big enough to hold one wheel inside...

I didnt realise that size was such a problem with a conventional small scooter..
I assume the foldability comprimises structural stability, weight and consequently energy consumption. Ill have a guess that most potential purchasers would rather lose a few kilos and have better fuel consumption...
The only features that could be a practical advatage are the handlebars that fold..if manouvering amongst a row of parked moped or in a cycle store..

Saying all of this..if it persuades a few more car drivers to use a a method of transport that uses less energy..its a good thing!

I think the suitcase contain the battery pack and also function as the feet platform. It is practical to just bring the suitcase for recharging.
