fused glass bowl made from beer bottles


'get smashed!' is a project by seth nagelberg, in which he looks to utilize the glass from used beer or wine bottles
to create new tableware.

designer's own words:
I begin by sorting and smashing wine and beer bottles. the shards are arranged on a kiln shelf and fused together in the ceramic kiln.
the fused glass is placed over a bowl mold that I made and fired again to slump the glass into the mold.
