at the milan design week 09 japan's leading lighting manufacturer yamagiwa
presented 'moonbird' by yukio hashimoto.
the sculptural form of this lamp is enhanced by the natural material of its body - wood
(these prototypes are individually carved by the japanese interior designer itself).
'I designed this lamp with the image of a bird perched
silently under the moonlight in mind.' he said.
