‘buble’ set boadesign studio

czech boadesign studio have recently produced the modella and buble collection designed for kvetna glass works. both sets are the result of an economical conception as they are created using just two moulds. they only differ in the length of their stems which defines the look and final proportion of each type.

the buble set is based on bubbles as the name suggests. their form consists of two circles which permeate each other.

the modella set comes from the shape of a cylinder which is tapered in the middle to lighten the cylinder’s strict geometrical shape. the stem is not included for whiskey and water glasses and the bottom is thickened to balance proportions.
