located in hiratsuka city, japan is 'shell house' by japanese studio far east design lab.
the trapezoid shaped one storey residence is constructed with a steel frame, which
is visible throughout the interior. spanning an area of 1228 square feet the house has an
open plan.

There are living quarters made from shipping containers that look way better than this. It may seem fun to live in at first but you're going to get sick of seeing the steel ribs, beams, and air ducts sticking out.
No to mention shapes with steep angles such as trapezoids or triangle are highly inefficient as far as space storage is concerned.
