schultzeworks design studio has reinvented the desktop. the outcome is 'philco PC' a retro-styled
personal computer which is influenced by the 1954 design classic philco predicta, mixed with a bit
of modernist minimalism.

lead designer dave schultze states:
'the result is a design aesthetic that blends multiple elements of the familiar, but with some
surprisingly fresh styling that just so happens to house a state-of-the-art windows 7 PC.

Very nice, I'm especially fond of the keyboard - I'd leave that on the desktop any day of the week. Shouldn't it be booting, like, Minix, or OS/2 or something though ;)
Dan   12.17.09
it's looks like SMTH Brazilia movie
alx   12.17.09
It's impressive, but I don't feel the keyboard really matches the style of the main uint.
Nicole   12.17.09
So. I have a Question.
Where can I get one?
Even just the case, or the keyboard.
I think it fits nicely with the rest of the style of the unit.
:)

Venus   12.17.09
I'll put in my order for at least one.

i feel sick, worrying when we look to the past for inspiration for the future..
maximillian   12.17.09
Actually, I believe that a design challenge is more difficult (and personally interesting) when you try to combine elements of the familiar, but it a totally new way. If you can also incorporate an element of humor, you have something that people will talk about. Otherwise, I do agree with your point.

Wonderful, exuberant design. I'd like to see some period colors like cream, burgundy and turquoise. Maybe some tu-tones. And tailfins. Ok, forget the tailfins.
Groucho Lenin   12.18.09
I want one! Is it possible to order one?
jhagedon@mac.com   12.18.09
I like the retro orange in a new avatar.
priya   12.18.09
Well done, nice design-
Franksol   12.19.09
very nice product. wonderful color
fluye   12.19.09
wtf? why imitate a retro style on something which didn't even exist back then, if it was a tv or a fridge that would have been justified. bad design
mb   12.19.09
The keyboard and mouse are stellar.
hillary   12.19.09
i don't like styling, i prefer good design. it seems to be instable. in my opinion the displayed content should come to the fore, not the machine itself.
marius   12.19.09
HORRIBLEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
el concha de su ma!!   12.19.09
I like it very much.
Please consider to design a laptop line Windows compatible. Its very difficult to find a well-done Windows notebook if you compare to mac.
CMC   12.20.09
the design could be simplified more and adding up some energy saving focus it would be a great product to fight the current imac design.

well for this one i really like it and it have a certain unique feeling :D
