showcased at his presentation ‘art can break your heart’ during DMY international design festival berlin, ‘a-z’ by german designer sascha grewe is a series of hand crafted stools largely influenced by typographic form. constructed out of mdf, all the letters of the alphabet are available in 147 colours including a chalkboard finish. recently, grewe collaborated with german artist theyoung (tim young) to create the letters g-r-e-y outfitted with speckled clouds using hand-cut stencils and spray paint. the stools are also available with an open face to provide storage space or in smaller versions to be suitable for kids.
