yo shimada: post-it structures

'post-it structures' by yo shimada of tato architects
yo shimada of tato architects has sent us images of his recent installation project 'post-it structures',
conceived in cooperation with students of kyoto university of art and design.
on show at the gallery artzone in kyoto city, the installation was composed of 30 thousand cells of post-its in bright,
fluorescent colors that were adhered to one another to form building components, the result being a wall-like structure
running through the gallery.
the audience was invited to engage in a dialogue with the piece, asked to state their impressions on post-its and sticking them
on facing gallery walls. 'post-it structures' also acted as a backdrop to japanese calliger miss kasetsu's writing performances
which she delivered within the gallery.

Please ignore the comments from the buzzkills. Apparently they are the arbiters of practicality which makes them incapable of understanding many forms of art. Maybe if they build post-it art they would have ttime to fight or spread hate or discouragment and negativity. ttt and dario go grab a pack of recycled post-its and take off your cranky pants. :-D
