interactive google street view hyper-lapse animations by teehan+lax labs

hyper-lapse photography – a technique combining time-lapse and sweeping camera movements are typically focused on a point-of-interest. creating them requires precision and many hours stitching together photos taken from carefully mapped locations. canadian design studio teehan+lax labs has developed experiment for creating simplified interactive google street view hyper-lapse animations. built using hyperlapse.js, three.js (r57), a modified version of GSVPano.js, and google maps API v3, the project provides greater accessibility so developers can play with higher frame rates, better image quality, and more complicated camera movements.
