that article is wrong...
it says there are over 43 billion permutations of the Rubik's cube. But there are around 43 quintillion possible combinations.

I guess it's not technical wrong as it says "over", but it's misleading. It would be like saying McDonald's has served over a dozen hamburgers. Or like saying there are over a hundred stars in our galaxy.

43 quintillion is 43 billion billion--that's 43 quintillion, 252 quadrillion, 3 trillion, 274 billion, 489 million, 856 thousand...
