LEDs are the most innovative light sources of the present day, but in future organic LEDs (OLEDs), which are wide-area light sources, will open up new horizons. zumtobel showcased initial OLED concepts from japanese architects SANAA at this year's light+building 2010 in frankfurt.

this concept study by SANAA architects captures the airiness of OLED modules

switch LED light bulbs
featuring liquid cooling technology, the bulbs are available in 100, 75, 60 and 40 watt equivalents to offer the light quality of incandescents, but each one lasts 25 times as long and is 80% more energy efficient.
