designed for the city of geneva, nicolas le moigne's public clock tells the time through words.
the letters change through a rotary system which spells out the correct time on the clock.
the simple timepiece blends in with the architecture, aligned along the stone detailing of the
wall in which it is installed.

nicolas le moigne won the designboom MACEF competition 'RE-think and REcycle' in 2005
with 'watering can'. the project was later changed to 'twist & spout' and unveiled at the ICFF
designboom mart in new york in 2005. the same year le moigne participated also in the
designboom mart in tokyo
