The area used for the bed is fit for a bathroom with its own housy stairs, not a bedroom that needs to be tidy, clean and decorated. There are actual loft stairs, and Ron Arad designed tubular steel frame ones, for a rised platform bed and down stairs clothing rail, all in one simple and pratical solution. This camouflage with domestic statements are enhansing claustrophobic results. That lit baldakin could feature just at the balcony level.
And that floor space on the opposite wall to the kitchen, good enough for a bed, is the lounge, for entertaining... who would want to come visit in a warehouse neighbourhood? Most of such facilities are like modern palaces, being grand, great for an embassy, but not for children to play at night or police patrol, there is just no activity going on all day long, except on events, deliverys, etc.
Unusual place for the watter heater is working, so is the laundry closed away noises inside the wc, the fit oven, but the missing fridge will still get in the way.

Taking notice that the baldakin like shape also houses a screen, to blacken the all perimeter. It still is a very claustrophobic and too housy project.
