CARSULE pop-up camping tent can be attached to your car in just 5 minutes

nevada-based company MOGICS has designed a pop-up tent for a variety of car models including hatchbacks, minivans, MPVs, SUVs and station wagons. called ‘CARSULE’, the tent is shaped like a cube to allow a 2-meter standing height, meaning the space can be used not just for sleeping, but also as a portable living room that you can take on your next camping trip.

MOGICS explains that the tent frame is composed of two metal spring loops that run along the perimeter of the side panels. these loops are connected to each other by four aluminum rods. the structure gets its stability from being anchored to the vehicle’s rear door with an adjustable anchor strap. diagonal ceiling tension lines prevent shear deformation while doubling as a means to hang accessories from the ceiling, such as a lamp or cooling fan. CARSULE is fitted with attachment points for guy lines that can be used for added stability and the adaptive seal means it can latch onto various car types.

the pop-up tent is made from waterproof and UV resistant material, and unlike traditional triangular tents, the cubic shape allows hot air to convect through the top. adjustable windows provide natural ventilation and views of the great outdoors while integrated mosquito netting keeps bugs at bay. moreover, the design includes waterproof polyurethane flooring and a 4mm felt carpet to make the space cozy. 

CARSULE takes just 3-5 minutes to set up and when not in use, it can fold down to a compact 86cm x 86cm x 12cm size, so you’ve got more space for camping gear and friends!
