mmi remote-controlled camera + smartphone app by or leviteh

'mmi' camera, remote controlled by a smartphone application

the work of israeli designer or leviteh, 'mmi' is a screenless camera that interfaces with smartphones
to permit the remote shooting of photographs and video.

the camera itself contains a built-in kickstand as well as standard horseshoe mount for tripods.
insertable suction cup or magnetic connectors increase the range of spaces in which 'mmi' can
be mounted and used. by accessing the app onto iPhone, iPod touch or other smartphones,
users can remotely view what the camera sees, adjusting the angle and shooting settings,
including white balance, focus, burst or timer mode, and lens tilt. the application also permits
the immediate uploading of images and video to web.

the worlds going more hi-tech, and there is less place for relationship. and now you don't need no one to take a pic of you. it's a pity, 'coz we are getting far and far one from each other with phone, internet and cameras.
mihangel   11.23.11
to mihangel and whoever hold the same opinions - the idea of remote-operated camera is valid not only to a single person: just think about a group of friends who would like to include everybody in a picture immortalizing their friendship when there's no outsider to take the picture for them. and this is only one example. technology is not omnipotent - staying alone or socializing can be a matter (and an outcome) of personal decision. how pitiful is a person who lets technology rule his/hers life.

u got it backwards 'mihangel' --- in fact cell phones, internet, and video messaging brings us closer to the world.
