curated show 'new york local' in may 2009 in new york.

the designers present their line of tables titled 'clinker' at milan design week 2010 at superstudio più.
finally in production, by UK based manufacturer innermost, 'clinker' is composed of wood
slats which are assembled like clapboards, one overlapping the next. the construction
is simple with each slat covering the seam before. this method of assembly draws
its influence from clinker boats, which also use this ship-lap technique.
