lamp for paperbins

this year at milan design week 2010, mårten claesson, eero koivisto and ola rune of
claesson koivisto rune office have once again developed a functional item out of the
material 'durapulp', a biodegradable plastic based on maize starch. aside from being
durable and waterproof, this material is also fully compostable.

while historically paper has been used primarily in lamp shades, 'paper task light'
integrates the use of paper as the actual structure of the lamp with added LED technology.

'paper task light' is available for viewing at the temporary museum for new design/superstudio piú.
