'triangular house' by copenhagen-based practice we architecture is a concept design
for a two-storey dwelling that reinterprets the traditional colonial-style building.
consisting of three pitched roof blocks connected end to end, the layout of the residence
is made compact by triangulating the overall form. a single elevated wing facilitates
natural ventilation for the interior and the covered terrace space.
designed to be located in puerto cayo, equador, the project is built around a patio with
ample green space. by raising the western block off the ground level, the central exterior area
is opened up to the surrounding landscape, establishing a visual and atmospheric relationship
between the building and the site. the terrace space below accommodates a lap pool and
an outdoor lounge area.

Copying schows a lack of own ideas
everything has already been invented.
The question is more: how to reinterpret it in new concept & new context.
I think "We Architecture" had good teachers at archi school & understood many things.
and there are many people that try harder to make things look interesting by copying all too many influences and then it still don't make it happen...
actually just reading that totoro just put it in other words - i agree with him - you don't invent a new architecture every Tuesday
a continuum of roofs (like Escher's drawings) and then it would have been exceptional.
nicely done, liveable, and some genuine thought behind it
Open a Siza or Barragan's book and give up magazines.
the diagrams don't support the idea - and that's the BIG difference to BIG: BIG first find a logical and simple concept, translate this into a design and finally explain it to the audience by diagrams, whereas this design tries to make up some "new" and also complicated gesture, and the diagrams are left without telling any story.
I guess, there is a reason for BIG's success, and that is genius and that is not so easy to copy...
unfortunately interior have to correct with porshes:))
Cheers!
